Dr. Angela L. Roman,DNP.FNP-BC

Dr Angela L Roman is a Board Certified Family Practice Nurse Practitioner. She is also known in the community as Dr. Nurse Angee. After completing her Associate (Ferris State) and BS degrees in Mortuary Science (Wayne State, 1993), she decided that her calling was the same has her mom, who is also a Registered Nurse and a fierce community advocate. She then returned to school at Wayne County Community College’s RN Associate of Applied Science program, graduated in 1997 and began her nursing career. She has worked in most major Detroit Health Systems including Henry Ford, St. John, Botsford, to name a few. It was her experience as a ER/Trauma RN at St. John Northeast that sparked her desires to make an impact on her community and the type of care she felt should be provided in primary care.

In 2004 she completed her Advanced Practice Nursing Education as a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (Michigan State University) and obtained a Masters Degree in Nursing. After 10 years of Practice as a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (2014), she returned to Michigan State University and completed a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (2019).
